INVITATION TO JOIN THE POUNDSHOP FOR LONDON DESIGN WEEK
18th-26th September 2010
The next Poundshop is coming up and it is now time to submit ideas for amazing £1 products!
Design collective Household and Sara Melin have joined forces to create the ultimate low cost, high quality shopping experience. The Poundshop is a pop up shop that will sell quality designer produce at piggy bank friendly prices - THE SALE PRICE OF EVERYTHING? ONE POUND!
WE NEED:
1: Amazing products for wide ranging uses and hobbies.
For example: Jewellery, clothing, stationery, kitchenware, self-publishing, items from far off places etc.
2: The product has to be designed by you.
3: Must be desirable/sellable/durable value for money objects. Usage is key!
4: Can be any size, cheap doesn't have to mean small.
5. Must be able to retail for £1 only. Please consider that you should make a profit yourself.
THE POUNDSHOP WILL:
1. Provide a beautiful designed retail outlet in central London.
2. Have helpful friendly staff to sell your goods
3. Advertise you on our blog, website and insure press coverage
HOW TO TAKE PART:
a: Send in your one-pound-product-proposal by Thursday 12/08/10, (a short description plus a drawing/photo) to
thepoundshop@house-hold.org
b: For successful submissions a £17 participation fee plus 10% commission fee will apply.
